An Invitation to the R.C.I.A.
The community of Mission San Diego de Alcalá cordially invites you to enter the R.C.I.A. process this fall and experience a new and enriched meaning to your life through renewed faith and love. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) is a process whereby adults become members of the Catholic Church.
The R.C.I.A. is specifically designed for the following people:
- Adults who have never been baptized and who want to inquire about the Catholic faith;
- Adults who have been baptized into another Christian tradition (Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist, etc.) who want to inquire about the Catholic faith; and
- Baptized Catholic adults who have yet be confirmed and receive Eucharist for the first time.
Interested persons should complete the Inquirer Registration Form below and send it to Fr. Bill Springer via email attachment to wspringer@missionsandiego.org. Alternatively, you may contact Fr. Springer by calling the Parish Office at (619) 283-7319.
The Mission’s R.C.I.A. process begins on Thur, Sept 7, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the California Room.
