Mission San Diego lay ministers bring the Eucharist, prayer, and fellowship to people who are unable to attend Mass due to illness or who are homebound for other reasons. This ministry is a beautiful way to nourish the dignity and spiritual wellness of those unable to attend Mass. For the home bound, the visiting minister is many times the only social connection to the Church community, and which enables them to experience God’s goodness through the kindness of the visiting minister.
