Each year our Social Action Committee sponsors a dinner to help us prepare for Lent and Easter. We’ll have hand-outs and a delicious supper of two soups served with a tossed green salad, rolls and butter and home-made cake for dessert. We’ll also have adult beverages for a small donation.

This year our guest speaker will be Deacon Jim F. Vargas, OFS, President and chief Executive Officer of Father Joe’s Villages. He oversees all facets of the organization, including St. Vincent de Paul Village.

Deacon Vargas has over 30 years of experience in management and human resources, as well as being a past board chairman of the Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego Foundation.

He is a deacon of the Diocese of San Diego serving the community of Mary, Star of the Sea in La Jolla.

Space is limited, an advance purchased reservation for $10 per adult is needed to attend. This is an adult event.

A date for ticket sales and the menu will be announce very soon.
