Fr. Joseph Chinnici, O.F.M.,

President of the Franciscan School of Theology in Oceanside,

will present:

“Holiness and Conflict: the Missionary

Spirituality of St. Junípero Serra”

discussing Serra’s life work in Alta California and the current controversy surrounding his canonization. Fr. Chinnici, Professor of Church History, earned his Doctorate in History from Oxford University and is the author of numerous books and articles on Church History.
