Our parish will be hosting a display of Eucharistic Miracles that have occurred in the history of the Catholic Church on October 9-10 in the California Room, after each Mass. These beautiful Vatican International “Eucharistic Miracles of the World” provide physical evidence that when the host is Blessed by a priest during Mass, the bread and wine, via transubstantiation, is transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ!

For instance, in 750 A.D. in Lanciano, Italy, when a doubting priest recited the words of consecration, the host and the wine physically changed into human flesh and blood in the sight of the congregation. You will see actual photos of this and 120 other Eucharistic Miracles!

We have Blessed Carlo Acutis to thank for this wonderful compilation! Blessed Carlo is a teenager from Italy who was beautified in 2020. In his short lifetime, he combined his knowledge of computers and his love of the Eucharist to put together an amazing website compiling all the Church’s documented Eucharistic Miracles! This weekend’s presentation is a visual display of that compilation.

As we grow closer to our Eucharistic Lord during these seven weeks, we are blessed with this opportunity to witness His True Presence in the miracles and healings He offers us through this great sacrament.
